What happens next
You'll get a welcome package
We'll send you a welcome package with important information about your loan. Including your new Onity account number. If you need your account number sooner, you can find it using our Account Number Lookup Tool.
Online access may take a few days
After the transfer date, it can take up to one week for online account setup and payment options to be available.
We'll keep you informed
We'll send you emails with helpful updates and key details about your loan transfer.
Your first billing statement
You'll receive your first billing statement from Onity shortly after the transfer.
About your payment
We understand that loan transfers can happen close to a payment due date. To help make the transition easier, Onity Mortgage does not charge late fees or report negative credit activity during the first 60 days after your transfer date. If you have a commercial loan, Onity Mortgage does not charge late fees for the first 30 days after your transfer date.
